Goner Hits Kickstarter, Reveals Funding and Stretch Goals

The need for dinosaur survival is still strong, and I will gladly promote any project seeking to do it. Such is the case with Goner, which has dinosaurs and first person survival. Recently the developers announced the game and said it would be hitting Kickstarter soon. The day is now upon us, and you can back Goner.

Since getting onto the crowdfunding service earlier today, Goner has managed to make nearly €5,500 of a €24,600 goal. That’s about 22%, for those who find percentages easier. It’s a promising start, and it seems hopeful that Goner will be able to hit its goal before its 30-day campaign finishes up. If it does, then we finally have a real chance of a first-person dinosaur survival story game.

Of course, there’s also the chance of stretch goals being hit as well, and the campaign has plenty of those. This includes some stuff that you’d likely expect, such as more dinosaurs, more environments, and just more game in general. Other goals include more voice acting, console support, and mod support. One of the highest stretch goals, set at €190.000, promises VR support even. Just, you know, in case you want to be eaten by a dinosaur in VR.

If you want to help back Goner then you can get to its Kickstarter page here.
