One of the best mini-series of the past several years was HBO Latino's Epitafios (review). At the time we posted our review, it wasn't clear whether or not we'd see any further adventures of Renzo Márquez and the Policía Federal Argentina, but today we learned that yes, finally, Season 2 is on its way.

Fans of "Supernatural" got a nice treat last week when word came down that Adrianne Palicki was going to reprise her portrayal of Jessica in at least one episode, but what we've really been wanting to hear about is who would be playing Season 5's big bad, Lucifer. Our wait is now over.

The second season of HBO's "True Blood" is in full swing, and fans of the show have been anxiously awaiting the first sighting of Evan Rachel Wood as Sophie-Anne Leclerq, the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. No photos have shown up yet, but Wood herself did reveal a few choice tidbits about her character.

Season 4 of "Supernatural" ended with a doozy of a cliffhanger, and the September 10th premiere of its fifth (and final?) season can't come soon enough for me. So the news that Adrianne Palicki is returning for a guest spot as Sam's unlucky girl friend Jessica is like icing on the cake.

Following in the footsteps of Jimmy Smits' guest star turn in last season's "Dexter", the show's producers have tapped Emmy and Tony winner John Lithgow for all 12 episodes of Season 4. Now this is a casting coup I can get behind 100%!

When it first premiered, I was as big a fan of "Medium" as anyone. Its balanced portrayal of psychic/medium Allison DuBois' professional and personal lives was rich and rewarding. But it started losing me in later seasons, mostly due to the fact that it began to feel a little too familiar week after week.

One thing I'll never completely understand is TV programming and why some shows make it when others that are just as worthy, if not more so, don't. Case in point: Fox TV's "Dollhouse" and "Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles."

It may not have won over a lot of Dread Central readers' hearts, but "Harper's Island" isn't doing so poorly that it's being canceled. However, CBS is moving the show to Saturday night ... not exactly a ringing endorsement.

It's a great time to be a fan of the acclaimed Alan Ball vampire series "True Blood". Season 2 debuts on HBO on June 14th. Season 1 of the series will be released on DVD/Blu-ray on May 19th along with the soundtrack on CD. Can it get any better? Well ... Yes! We have ourselves a juicy little clip of things to come for you to *ahem* sink your teeth into.

Those who have been watching "Dollhouse" on Fox claim it has finally hit its stride after a somewhat rocky start, and the show's upward trending ratings seem to bear that out. So one has to wonder why, then, Fox has decided to cut its season short by declining to air Episode #13, "Epitaph One".
