Promo Trailer - Indie Creature Feature Rites of Spring

Ah, monster movies. So close to our hearts. So dear to our souls. In a world dominated by ghost stories, vampires, and slasher flicks, it's great to revisit the sub-genre of vicious beasts who have delivered so many screams. Hopefully that's exactly what we'll get with Padraig Reynolds' indie flick Rites of Spring.

Rites of Spring stars AJ Bowen (The Signal, The House of the Devil, Hatchet 2), his Signal co-star Anessa Ramsey, Marco St. John from the long-awaited Dylan Dog adaptation Dead of Night, and Shanna Forrestall (The Last Exorcism).

DC reader Marcus D. sent us a link to what appears to be an old promo trailer for the flick, given its "2008" cue at the end. But an old tease is better than nothing, right? Either way, it looks pretty damned sweet!

Synopsis
After kidnapping the nine-year-old daughter of a wealthy socialite and hiding out in an abandoned school, the kidnappers fall prey to a recurring terror in this place, a bloodlust that comes every first day of spring.
