Medium Prepping Night of the Living Dead Mash-Up

Now that the show has made the move from NBC to CBS, “Medium” producer Glenn Gordon Caron is ready to snaz it up a bit to encourage viewers of new lead-in “Ghost Whisperer” to stick around. To that end, he has acquired the rights to use footage from Night of the Living Dead in an upcoming episode.
According to The Live Feed at THR.com, Caron will stage a mash-up episode inserting Patricia Arquette’s character [Allison DuBois] into George A. Romero’s classic film. The outing will air just before Halloween.
“I’m so excited about it because I love that movie,” Arquette said. “Also I started out in horror movies with Nightmare on Elm Street, Part 3.”
I admit to losing interest in “Medium” during the last season, but this news and the network switch-over have both definitely rekindled my curiosity. How about yours?
