UK Readers: Win a Copy of WINCHESTER on DVD

With Winchester heading to DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on May 28, we’ve giving three lucky readers a chance to win a copy of the supernatural horror film on DVD. For your chance to win, you’ll need to answer the following question correctly.

How many years did it take to build the Winchester house?

    A. 38 years
    B. 12 years
    C. 100 years

Email your answer to including your FULL NAME AND MAILING ADDRESS along with “Winchester Competition” in your subject line, and we’ll take care of the rest. The competition closes on May 28, and please don’t enter if you live outside the UK.

Winchester was directed by the Spierig Brothers, and was co-distributed by Lionsgate and CBS Films. It stars Academy Award winner Helen Mirren alongside Jason Clarke, Sarah Snook, Finn Scicluna-O’Prey, and Angus Sampson.

    Winchester Official Synopsis
On an isolated stretch of land 50 miles outside of San Francisco sits the most haunted house in the world. Built by Sarah Winchester (Helen Mirren), the eccentric firearm heiress to the Winchester Repeating Arms fortune, it is a house that knows no end.

Renowned for its enormous size, its architectural curiosities, and its lack of any master building plan, the Winchester house was constructed in an incessant twenty-four hour a day, seven day a week mania for decades. It stands seven stories tall and contains hundreds of rooms with numerous oddities. To the outsider it looks like a monstrous monument to a disturbed woman’s madness. But Sarah is not building for herself, for her niece (Sarah Snook) or for the brilliant Doctor Eric Price (Jason Clarke) whom she has summoned to the house. She is building a prison, an asylum for hundreds of vengeful ghosts, and the most terrifying among them have a score to settle with the Winchesters.
