We could all use an island getaway, am I right? Fun in the sun. Powdery sand. Calm ocean waters lulling us to sleep while the super clean air has us breathing easier. It's just too bad that sometimes even in paradise the shit can hit the fan.
Back in the Fifties and Sixties movies about extreme giants and shrinking or shrunken people were all the rage thanks to some nifty camera tricks. So the question now beckons: Can that same premise still find its footing with today's generation? Who cares?!? We love the retro-poster that looks as if it were ripped from the pages of an old Fifties textbook!
Thankfully The Woman has already been picked up for distro here in the States by Bloody Disgusting Selects, but she's still looking for more international sales so that her fury can be documented worldwide! Will this latest bit of eye candy do the trick?
Another master of horror has his latest film on display at AFM, and as always we have the goods for you right here! Think about what you want for your other two wishes, and read on to get the first one granted.

Alrighty, kids. It's time. Get ready for a barrage of imagery from this year's big dance in Los Angeles, AFM, starting with some really creepy sales art for the ghostly new flick Akuma.
And Week Two of our extensive coverage of this year's American Film Market has officially kicked off! Before we get to the dozens and dozens and, yes, dozens of things we have on tap for you, let's kick things off with a little distro news!
A few days ago I reviewed an import DVD of Christopher Hatton’s Robotropolis, essentially a zombie outbreak flick with killer robots in lieu of the undead. Hatton’s next flick, Battle of the Damned, has just been announced at AFM, and this time the survivors will have to contend with both berserk robots and zombies.
It's times like these we don't mind working on the weekend as the latest news coming out of AFM has one of the best films we've seen all year, Eduardo Sanchez's Lovely Molly (review here), finding domestic distribution with Image Entertainment. The deal comes as Content Film sells international territories at AFM, and we couldn't be happier that our Stateside readers at least are assured of seeing this one sooner rather than later.
More wheeling and dealing has taken place at this year's AFM, resulting in a partnership for US distribution between Drafthouse Films, the distribution arm of the Alamo Drafthouse, and Image Entertainment, Inc., a leading licensee and distributor of programming throughout North America, solidifying itself as a major player in the independent distribution arena. Good news indeed for horror fans!
Just days after bringing you the latest artwork for the new scare fest coming out of the UK, Truth or Dare, we have some more eye candy from the flick right here waiting for you. Dig it!
Okay then. And the award for worst title of AFM goes to ... The Dead Undead. We hope this moniker makes sense in the context of the flick because it doesn't make much sense otherwise. Read on for art and details.
We're not talking about hunting wolves or even the elderly (though sometimes we'd really like to, especially when they're arguing over 3 cents at the supermarket); we're talking aliens, man! Spacemen! Probers! Read on for the first details and art.
We told you about the new horror flick starring Ving Rhames, Luke Goss, and Val Kilmer, Seven Below, last week; and now we have yet another look at the flick for you! We're good like that.
Lots of things are happening at AFM today, including some title changes. We've been talking about the new horror flick 13 Hours for a while now, but those talks have come to an end. We're now gonna start yapping about Night Wolf! Read on for more.
