‘Terrifier 2’: The “Ultra Gory Slasher” Will Be Finally Unleashed This Halloween!

Art the Clown is back, and this time he’s making an even bigger mess. That’s right, Terrifier 2, the long-promised sequel to one of the nastiest indie slashers ever made, is finally seeing a release! The ultra-gory slasher will open in theaters nationwide this Halloween season before streaming exclusively on the Bloody Disgusting-powered SCREAMBOX.
From writer/director Damien Leone (All Hallows’ Eve), the hotly anticipated sequel will see the return of David Howard Thornton as the brutal maniacal killer, Art the Clown. Terrifier 2 will introduce Lauren LaVera as Sienna and also see the return of Samantha Scaffidi as Victoria Heyes. Everyone’s favorite horror icon Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) is also set to make an appearance.
In the nasty new sequel, a sinister presence has brought Art back to life to rein terror on the residents of Miles County. On Halloween night, Art returns to the unassuming town and sets his sights on fresh prey: a teenage girl and her little brother, portrayed by LaVera and Elliott Fullam, respectively.
Says director Damien Leone,
“Just like our incredible fan base, Bloody Disgusting immediately recognized the film’s franchise potential and acknowledged Art the Clown as a new and formidable presence in the genre. It was encouraging to find the perfect home for our batshit crazy, no holds barred, balls-to-the-wall horror film after three arduous years of production, a global pandemic and endless gallons of blood. Our goal was to create a horror film that was boundary-pushing, fresh yet old-school and demented as hell. You know…a film you can take the kids to! We are thrilled to finally answer that once dreaded question…’So, when does Terrifier 2 come out?!’”
Revisit the original Terrifier ahead of the sequel’s release. The Dread original sees Art The Clown sets his sights on three young women, along with anyone else that gets in his way. You can rent or own Terrifier anywhere you get movies.
