She doesn’t remember who she is or how she ended up there. As she’s running out of oxygen, she must rebuild her memory to find a way out of her nightmare.

Aja directs Oxygen from a screenplay penned by Christie LeBlanc; the Netflix film stars Mélanie Laurent, Mathieu Amalric (The French Dispatch), and Malik Zidi (Play).

Oxygen director Alexandre Aja is one of the most famous directors to emerge from the New French Extremity movement of the mid-2000s with his (almost) masterpiece High Tension. Since then, he’s enjoyed international success. He’s helmed the likes of the remake of Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes and the killer adaptation of author Joe Hill’s Horns with Daniel Radcliffe. Plus, the recent killer croc(s) flick Crawl. Not to mention the remake of Joe Dante’s creature feature cult classic Piranha.
