Few things make me as happy as independent horror films getting the recognition they deserve, which is why we were psyched to hear that David Marmor’s chilling 1BR is in Netflix’s top ten streamed movies within a week of being released on the platform.
1BR tells the story of Sarah, a newcomer to the Los Angeles area who embarks on an apartment hunt only to find a place that’s a little bit too perfect. After some time at her new residence, she quickly realizes she’s in the grasp of a dangerous cult and must fight for her life. Based on true events, 1BR is a surefire horror thrill ride, and a great new entry into the cult horror sub-genre. You can stream 1BR on Netflix tonight!
