Recently, I heard a joke that someone out there was so bored that they “finished Netflix.” And I guess the peeps over at What’s On Netflix heard the same joke as they literally figured out just how long that would take. Here’s what they gathered:
Netflix has 2.2 million minutes of content currently available. That’s just over four years of continuous content. That roughly translates to 36,000 hours in total.
More stats include the fact that Netflix sports over 50,000 titles – that’s if you include every episode for every series in a single number. The total number of titles excluding the episodes and just series is 5,817. Meanwhile, Disney+ has 922 titles and Hulu just over 4,000. Netflix Originals make up around 25% of Netflix’s total library. Note: These stats only cover Netflix in the US.
