Exclusive: BLIND Villain Pretty Boy Becomes A Creepy Action Figure!

Marcel Walz, the director of last year’s Blood Feast remake as well as Seed 2 and Rootwood, is back with a new vision of terror…except not quite? Titled Blind, the film follows an actress who loses her sight in a surgery gone wrong and finds herself beset upon by a terrifying stalker. Written by Joe Knetter (Terror Overload, Desert Moon), the movie will bring a new king of terror in the form of Pretty Boy, the masked assailant who has the most vicious of intentions.

Walz tells Dread Central, “With Blind, we really wanted to do something different than the standard horror film. We centered it on people that would classically be considered disabled. We wanted to show that everyone faces challenges and it’s up to each individual to decide whether they wanted to let negativity permeate throughout their entire world or embrace life and positivity and grow from tragedy. This is a passion project from all involved and up until recently one we have kept under wraps.

For those who love the thought of having a horror villain on your mantle/shelf/desk/whatever, get ready to make some room for Pretty Boy as he’s getting an action figure courtesy of the fine folk at Death by Toys. Today, we’ve got an exclusive look at Pretty Boy as an action figure as well as from the film itself.

Faye, a former actress that lost her vision due to botched laser eye surgery, struggles to put her life back together while living alone in her dream house in the Hollywood Hills. Supported by her friend Sophia, she starts opening up to Luke, a personal trainer who is mute and can only communicate through his cell phone. When a masked stranger named Pretty Boy shows up, Faye will realize that she isn’t as alone as she thinks.

Written by Joe Knetter and directed by Marcel Walz, Blind stars Sarah French, Caroline Williams, Jed Rowen, Tyler Gallant, Thomas Haley, Ben Kaplan, and Michael St. Michael.
