SSSSSSScream Factory Announces Mutant SSSSSSSnake Flick SSSSSSS for Blu-Ray Next SSSSSSSummer
SSSSSSS is a true B-movie gem from the go-go SSSSSSSevenites about a mad SSSSSSScientist that turns a man into a SSSSSSSnake. Sorry, gotta stop doing that.
The 1973 sci-fi shocker SSSSSSS stars future “Battlestar Galactica” and “A-Team” actor Dirk Benedict as a college student looking for a job who gets hired as a lab assistant by a deranged herpetologist experimenting with snakes, specifically lethal King Cobras.. The young man falls for the mad doctor’s beautiful daughter (Heather Menzies, Piranha) while unaware that the scientist (Strohter Martin, Nightwing) has developed a serum that can turn humans into cobras and he’s the guinea pig.
Reb Brown, the future star of Yor, the Hunter from the Future (another movie due for Blu), co-stars in this nature gone amok meets mad scientist flick from Bernard L. Kowalski, the director of Attack of the Giant Leeches. Seems like most everyone involved with this one has some ties to other killer animal flicks.
Scream Factory announced on Facebook that SSSSSSS will be gettin the Blu-ray treatment sometime in late spring/early summer 2016.
No other details are available at this time, but you can pretty much guarantee one of the disc extras will be the tremendous trailer you’ll find below.
