Last month, Dread Central announced AMC’s plans to launch a new streaming service dedicated exclusively to horror fans. Scary movie addicts, rejoice! AMC has officially launched the service, Shudder, in public beta.

Promising to be “the” destination for horror fanatics and featuring hoards of films that span decades, moods, and sub-genres, Shudder will boast a library full of scary movies ranging from independents to Hollywood blockbusters. Shudder will add new titles to its collection every month, keeping choices fresh for subscribers.

Along with a solid collection of classics and new titles to explore, Shudder also features Shudder.TV, a 24/7 constant stream of horror content acting as an add-free premium streaming video channel. Shudder.TV is currently free for all users to enjoy.

Shudder is available now for desktop, iOS, Android mobile devices, Roku players, and Roku TV models. The company promises to be available on Chromecast soon as well. The service is available for a 14-day free trial, with a monthly cost of $4.99, or $49.99 yearly, after the trial ends.

Visit Shudder to learn more about the service, browse the collection, or to start your free trial today.
