The Killer Inside Me
After a couple of light on horror weeks, we are finally treated to a bumper crop of new releases. Headlining the week is Frozen, which is just what we in Southern California need to stave off our current heat wave. A couple of oldies but goodies are out, too, as Madman celebrates its Happy 30th Birthday and the original King Kong comes to Blu-ray.
Just yesterday we brought you the second international poster for The Killer Inside Me, and now we bring you news of the flick's home video release. We're good like that!
Time for a second international poster for the ever so controversial new flick The Killer Inside Me. This one comes with a shot of vodka! Nostrovia!
Here around the Dread Central office we're big fans of films described as uber violent and chilling so we're looking forward to IFC's roll-out of The Killer Inside Me, and to help get you guys excited too, we have two clips for you to dig on.

It's been an insane year for horror already, and now that the summer convention season is approaching, news and event reports will continue heating up! In advance of The Killer Inside Me's June 18th theatrical release in New York (with a national expansion beginning June 25th), IFC Films has provided us with the official US trailer and one-sheet artwork.
We are pretty damned sure that you have heard all about the
ruckus Michael Winterbottom's The Killer Inside Me caused overseas at the European Film Market due to its brutality, so to say our eyes are very focused on this flick is an understatement. Like the first clip from the film, the first official trailer is pretty tame as well.
As we've done in years past, we're going to be spotlighting the horror offerings at the 2010 Tribeca Film Festival, which runs from April 21st through May 2nd in New York City. First up is the uber violent and controversial The Killer Inside Me.
Following up on our story about the
first half of the Tribeca 2010 slate, the remaining feature films have been announced, and as we suspected, there are quite a few more genre gems that will be shown at the fest.
By now we've all heard the
stories about the ruckus Michael Winterbottom's The Killer Inside Me caused overseas at the European Film Market due to its brutality, so to say our eyes are very focused on this flick is an understatement. The first clip from the film has come online today showing some of the calm before the storm. Sorry, bloodhounds, you're gonna have to wait for your viscera.
There's a sometimes thin line between hyperbole and fact. During the European Film Market event in Berlin, Michael Winterbottom's The Killer Inside Me was apparently so violent that dozens of people walked out of the press screening in disgust. Okay. Sign us up!
As the Sundance film fest wound down for another year, one last film managed to be acquired: Michael Winterbottom's adaptation of The Killer Inside Me starring Casey Affleck and Jessica Alba.
Another promotional trailer out of AFM today for you guys to sink your teeth into. Lord knows there's been a lot of them over the last few days. In any event get ready to meet The Killer Inside Me.
