So it's official. Michael Bay and company have pulled up stakes and headed over to Paramount to continue their particularly evil ways. Please, powers that be ... keep them away from Paranormal Activity. Just can't imagine that flick with explosions or faux grittiness.

The long-untitled Satanic project from Platinum Dunes and writer Scott Kosar (The Amityville Horror), which we last told you about back here, finally has a name according to the freaks at Sci Fi Wire; it's called The Sacrifice. Simple, to the point; I like it!

While on the set of the Friday the 13th remake, we had the chance to sit down with the men behind the film, Platinum Dunes’ Andrew Form and Brad Fuller. Together they gave us a good overview of what’s on the horizon for Dunes and their various projects.

While it’s good to have some news that Platinum Dunes are finally looking at working on some original stuff as opposed to remake after remake, it’s too bad the premise of The Butcherhouse Chronicles doesn’t sound like anything that original...
