UPDATE: E3: Alan Wake Awakens 2010

We’ve been talking about Remedy’s Alan Wake for what seems like forever. Several years in fact. This year, just like the past two years, another new trailer for Alan Wake was shown at E3 – but – some actual gameplay footage appeared as well!
Said footage includes our title character running through the woods being chased by what appears to be ghouls who have sort of a flicker effect to them that explode into flames upon shooting. Neat. Environments are of the Silent Hill variety, and honestly? Things are looking pretty good.
We should be seeing Alan Wake in spring 2010, but I wouldn’t hold my breath!
