Pan's New One Sheet
Sweet babies in a blender! Latino Review has uploaded a new poster for Guillermo del Toro's Pan's Labyrinth starring Ivana Baquero and Doug Jones.
While this new one sheet may have a more family friendly look, the film is still rated R. Don't count on sunshine, lollipops, and candy canes here. Forget pretty fairies and happy gnomes, and get ready for some nightmarish character designs.
There may be no David Bowie in Pan's Labyrinth, but there sure as hell is an interesting story. The story, also written by del Toro, is set in rural Spain during 1944. A lonely young girl named Ofelia (Ivana Baquero) has created a fantasy world in her mind to escape the Fascism her country is under. Is it healthy to deal with real life situations using a fantasy world? I do it all the time, and you can watch Ofelia do it too this winter. Or you can make up your mind now by reading our review!
