Exclusive Pics From Scourge!

I do have to say I have a soft spot for monster movies. It’s the kid in me, really. You could have the most boring premise in the world but as soon as the word “monster” is uttered, you’ve got my attention.

Thus the reason I took note of a press release we got this past weekend for a new film called Scourge, directed by Sasquatch and Ripper II helmer Jonas Quastel.

An ancient evil escapes from it’s primitive containment system and begins making life difficult for the residents of a small town. The beast finds it’s way inside a host body and assumes control of motor functions, driving the person’s body to need massive amounts of calories. Eventually the beast leaves the host body, and with it the remains of the innards it's been feeding on. Needless to say, it's not pretty.

Scourge is on the road to AFM for distribution, but on the way the producers shot Dread Central a look at some pics from the film, most of which involve some sort of gory mess. Cause that’s how we roll! God I’m hip!
