When the announcement came that Night of the Creeps was finally hitting Blu-ray and DVD, there was much rejoicing. Lord knows it's been a long time coming! With the release just a couple of weeks away, we've got some cool stuff from the package for you to watch and enjoy!

Ah, yes! Slowly but surely everything is making the jump to pure 1080p goodness. Case in point ... this October Sony Pictures Home Entertainment is diving into its back catalog to deliver some Blu-ray chills just in time for Halloween.

Resident Evil: Extinction left the door open -- wide open -- for a sequel even though that powers-that-be at the time said it would be the last entry in the film franchise. Well, I guess you just can't keep a good ghoul down.

Horror fans would think Hell has finally frozen over. Think about it: Lost footage from Night Breed has been found, Universal has finally decided to release Phantasm II onto DVD (in what I'm reasonably sure will be an R-rated bare-bones release, but still), and now the specs have dropped for Sony's upcoming super-stacked DVD and Blu-ray editions of Night of the Creeps! Here's the goods on what we can expect when the DVD drops on October 20th. Sixty minutes of behind-the-scenes featurettes:
