Bloody First Stills – Sheila Ryan’s Opious

Producer Jeremiah Sayys just sent us over some really nasty new stills for his upcoming flick directed by Sheila Ryan Opious, and they’re so grue drippin’ good that we just had to share!
After coming off his directorial debut Of Silence, which is hinting at a creepy scare fest, and his family friendly film The Legends of Nethiah, Jeremiah Sayys has stepped back into the horror genre for his third film, producing and starring in the campy comedy horror film Opious.
The story of Opious takes place 40 years after a demonic cult, Opious, tried to open a portal to hell. When a group of ghost hunters arrive to investigate a said to be haunted inn, they stumble upon a journal belonging to the cult’s leader, Arrlington Mason.
Elvis (William A. Robertson) and his group of ghost hunting friends comprised of Silas (Jeremiah Sayys), Megan (Remy Ryan), Felix (Sean Ryan), Lacy (Julie Van), and Brady (Kit Williamson), along with a mysterious kid named Milo(Martin Yribarren), who was found kidnapped at the Inn, must close the portal form hell that’s accidentally opened by one of the ghost hunters before the sun rises the next morning. But doing so won’t be so easy.
Making her film directorial debut with Opious is Sayys’ producing partner Sheila Ryan, who also wrote the screenplay and produced the film with Sayys.
The film is currently in post-production and is aiming to make its premiere in October 2011. Visit the Opious fanpage on Facebook and “LIKE” the film. Also keep an eye out for the film’s first teaser trailer, which will be making its debut in a few months.
