One of our favorite genre mash-ups is the horror-western. There just aren't enough of them! But helping to fill the void is "Supernatural" Episode 18, entitled "Frontierland", and we have a big batch of stills from the ep to share - along with two new videos. One is a behind-the-scenes hosted by Jared Padalecki, and the other is a Season Six catch-up.
Poor Sam and Dean Winchester. Even when something seemingly good happens to them, it's tinged with tragedy. Case in point - Episode 19, "Mommy Dearest", in which their beloved mother Mary returns ... as a demon.
Along with the "meta" episode in which Sam and Dean Winchester played versions of their real-life selves Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles, by far the most anticipated ep of this season is "Frontierland", which sees the brothers donning cowboy boots and riding horses. Now finally we have a full synopsis of what fans can expect.
A lot of us dread April 15th, aka Tax Day, but this year things are a bit different as that's also when "Supernatural" returns from hiatus. On tap for the night is "My Heart Will Go On", in which Sam and Dean wake up in a world in which the Titanic never sank, setting the stage for the return of both Mary Winchester (Samantha Smith) and Ellen Harvelle (Samantha Ferris).
The CW pulled a little bit of a fast one on fans of "Supernatural" by switching the air dates of two upcoming episodes. Originally "My Heart Will Go On" was #18 while "Frontierland", the Western ep we've all been looking forward to, was #17. At any rate, look for "My Heart", which we finally have a synopsis for, to air on April 15th with "Frontierland" following a week later.
"Supernatural" may be gone (yes, it's on hiatus again!) until April 15th, but that doesn't mean it's forgotten. To help fill the time, we have video of the full "Supernatural" panel at Paleyfest 2011 along with a few pretty cool details from the upcoming Episode 17, "My Heart Will Go On", which sees the return of two beloved female characters.
This year's Paleyfest wound down with a huge tribute to "Supernatural" (the most badass thing horror fans *aren't* watching. That's right, I'm talking to YOU). As always, the female fans outnumbered the males 500/1 and shrieked non-stop as Jared Padalecki, Jensen Ackles, Misha Collins, Jim Beaver, writers Ben Edlund and Sera Gamble, and creator Eric Kripke took the stage.
Good ol' Twitter has provided us some intel on one of our favorite TV shows, "Supernatural", as far as who's writing the two-part (but airing on one night) Season Six finale. Read on for the details straight from series co-star Jim Beaver ("Bobby Singer") directly.
Folks who weren't exactly thrilled with certain elements of this season of "Supernatural" (like the Campbell family storyline for instance) should be pretty pleased with the turn of events in last week's episode.
We've got one episode left before "Supernatural" goes on a brief hiatus, and it's ominously entitled "And Then There Were None". Check out a clip and a quick teaser preview for it, and note that with regard to the static you'll see: "It's not your TV... it's not your hearing... it's all in your head."
We've been looking forward to this week's episode of "Supernatural", a self-referential look at Sam and Dean Winchester portraying series stars Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles entitled "The French Mistake", since we first heard about it. As the previews and clips roll in, it's looking like we're in for a major treat. Check 'em out and see for yourself!
Just a few hours after we posted a big batch of stills from the upcoming "meta" episode of "Supernatural" in which Jared Padalecki and Jensen Ackles portray both Sam and Dean Winchester AND themselves, a preview clip for "The French Mistake" surfaced online; and of course we have it for you right here!
We should celebrate our dead Presidents more often it seems! Just in time for the long President's Day weekend, The CW sent over an assortment of stills from the upcoming "Supernatural" episode "The French Mistake", wherein the Winchesters break the fourth wall, along with "And Then There Were None", in which Samuel and Bobby finally square off. Dig 'em!
Excited for the return of Lisa and Ben in this week's episode of "Supernatural", entitled "Mannequin 3: The Reckoning"? Yeah, we aren't either, but we knew it was coming, and maybe the ep's preview and a clip provided by The CW will shed a little light on this latest turn of events.
In order to accommodate the two-hour series finale of "Smallville" this coming May 13th, The CW will be preempting "Supernatural" that week, but the good news is that as a result, "Supernatural" will have its own two-hour season finale airing on May 20th.
