Weinstein Company Puts Halloween 3D Back on the Radar
A sequel to Rob Zombie's Halloween 2 has been talked about and even worked on for several years now, though it's been a long time since we've heard a peep about Michael Myers' return to the big screen. At long last, that silence has been broken. Read on!
As exclusively reported by Bloody Disgusting, news coming out of Cannes is that the Weinsteins are looking to finally get Halloween 3D off the ground, though that's all we know for now. Last we heard, Patrick Lussier and Todd Farmer (My Bloody Valentine 3D) had penned a script, but your guess is as good as ours, as to whether or not that's the one that will find its way in front of cameras.
We also have no way of knowing if this is going to be a direct sequel to Zombie's films or an entirely new vision, but either way, I suppose it's nice to hear that Michael Myers has still got some more slashing left in him, eh?
