Zombieland 2 All But Dead and Buried

The last time director Ruben Fleischer spoke about Zombieland 2, he said that though everyone wants to do it, the project was seeming less and less like a reality. If you think that sounded grim, wait till you see his new comments.

Collider caught up with Fleischer recently, and the filmmaker had this to say...

"I hate to do it, but I can say that there’s no immediate plans to make the movie. There’s no script, really, so the likelihood of it happening is slim. But I would not wanna put a nail in that coffin."

So if the movie did happen, and that's a really big if, which direction would it take? Fleischer explains, "I guess the only thing I could really say is that the threat to our heroes wasn’t only zombies, like they encounter other people that they’re all jockeying for positions."

And so it goes. We're just waiting for the eventual double-tap. Sigh.
