We just dug our claws into an exclusive clip from From Beneath, and we figured we'd share it with you! Get ready for another look at the upcoming indie terror tale from writer/director David Doucette.

The North American release is scheduled for October 2012, and international distribution is currently being planned. From Beneath features a talented cast including Lauren Watson and Jamie Temple. Ashe Morrison produced the film.

Synopsis
From Beneath is a creepy and suspenseful film about a young couple on a vacation to a relative's rural farmhouse. Hot and sticky from the long drive, Sam and Jason take a dip in the pond only to be bitten by a strange leech-like organism which crawls inside Jason when he tries to rip it off. Back at the house, Sam’s sister and her family have yet to return. As time progresses, the injury on Jason’s leg worsens into a rapidly spreading infection, and strange clues begin to reveal that there may be more to their host’s absence than previously appeared. It soon becomes a race against time to discover what happened to Sam’s sister and her family and what lies in store for Jason, faced with his physical and emotional disintegration.
