Matt Reeves Leaving The Twilight Zone?

Matt Reeves Leaving The Twilight Zone?If confirmed, then this is a real bummer for Twilight Zone fans. Variety's Jeff Kroll just posted the following on Twitter... "Due to scheduling conflicts, looks like Matt Reeves will not be helming WB's Twilight Zone pic."

At one point or another Christopher Nolan, Alfonso Cuaron, Michael Bay and Rupert Wyatt were all originally on that short list to helm the flick so don't be surprised if one of them steps in.

Unlike the 1983 feature that had four separate storylines, this film will have one story that features elements from the "Twilight Zone" universe made popular by Rod Serling's classic TV series. Leonardo DiCaprio, Jennifer Davisson Killoran and Michael Ireland will produce for Appian Way.

More as it comes.

Reeves is a solid director but he's not a huge loss. "Cloverfield" was great, but so far it's all he's done of note. I hope this movie never gets made, it sounds terrible.

Micheal 'I make movies for the retarded' Bay doing anything connected with the Twilight Zone is an abomination.
