QotD is most certainly not a good film, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't wear the film's soundtrack out during my college days.

The soundtrack is the only good thing about it, and Townsend really wasn't a terrible Lestat, but he had absolutely nothing to work with. Would love to see this one get a proper redux one day.

Really? Out of all the great movies out there waiting for a high-def transfer, they choose QotD? I'll talk shit about that film until my death, I swear!

Yeah it's a bad bad bad movie. Aaliyah is hot, but the movie is bad.

To this day I refuse to watch it.

Smart man! The movie is bad enough, but the commentary... oh my! I've never heard such blatant disregard for the fans of a series. The way they changed who "made" Lestat is still the most disrespectful treatment toward source material I've ever seen.

I'm ashamed to admit I'm a slacker when it comes to Rice at all.

I've got Interview on my Kindle though ... going to tackle it - and the whole series - soon.

Then maybe I'll watch this so I can be outraged too.
