The CW Interested in Sleepy Hollow Series as Well
Armageddon, Deep Impact. Volcano, Dante's Peak. Two projects with the same kind of idea. Happens all the time. Well, you can now add a television series based on Sleepy Hollow to that ever growing list!
According to Deadline, The CW is in talks for "Sleepy Hollow", a drama series project from Missing writers Patrick Macmanus and Grant Scharbo and producers Gina Matthews of Little Engine Prods (Missing) and Aaron Berger and Carina Schulze of Chatrone Prods.
The project, described as a boundary-pushing horror story for television, is a contemporary take on the classic tale The Legend of Sleepy Hollow, in which FBI Agent Ichabod Crane arrives in Sleepy Hollow to investigate a mysterious beheading. "Sleepy Hollow" is not set up at a studio yet.
This comes hot on the heels of the proposed Fox TV "Sleepy Hollow" series with Len Wiseman. Expect The Asylum to come up with a series for the Syfy channel in 3... 2...
