True Blood's Stephen Moyer on Directing Episode 5.08 - Somebody That I Used to Know

True BloodWe already knew Stephen Moyer (aka vampire Bill Compton) would be directing the July 29th episode of "True Blood", entitled "Somebody That I Used to Know", and now we have an idea of what the experience has been like for him.

Moyer tells TV Guide, "It was a lot of fun to sit down with each actor, explain what I was trying to do, and find the best way to achieve it together." As for how he handled directing his real-life wife, Anna Paquin (Sookie), "We were giggling a lot," Moyer says. "There was a lot of, 'God, this director's a nightmare.'"

Can we expect the things "True Blood" is known for like hungry vampires, hot sex, and down-and-dirty fights? "Everything you can have on our show, I had in spades," adds Moyer. "Everybody is going through monumental stuff this season."

Episode #56 (5.08) - “Somebody That I Used to Know”: The Authority revels in a new direction; Sookie and Jason (Ryan Kwanten) visit the site of their parents’ deaths; Luna (Janina Gavankar) gets stuck on Sam (Sam Trammell). (Written by Mark Hudis; directed by Stephen Moyer.) Playdates: July 29 and 31
