Yet another found footage flick is headed our way, and yes, one of the producers of Paranormal Activity is attached. But this one actually sounds pretty awesome, and we think you’ll agree. Read on!
The Wrap reports that Paranormal Activity producer Steven Schneider’s The Houses October Built will be shopped to international buyers at the upcoming Cannes Film Market, by Brian O’Shea’s The Exchange.
Described by O’Shea as “the best found footage horror film since Paranormal Activity terrified movie audiences,” the film examines the Halloween haunted house phenomenon that draws over 30 million visitors every October. Lurking beneath the surface of spooky fun, the film aims to shed light on the dark world of haunting.
Zack Andrews and Bobby Roe directed the movie, which New Regency produced with Schneider.
