Dawn of the Planet of the Apes Teases Upcoming Trailer

Next Thursday marks the online debut of a brand new trailer for Dawn of the Planet of the Apes, and today the trailer gets its own teaser, to whet your appetite. Yes. A teaser trailer. For a trailer. We’re super excited about the movie here on Dread, so we’ll take whatever we can get. Dig it!

Look for the film in theatres on July 11th, 2014. Dawn of the Planet of the Apes stars Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman, Keri Russell, Toby Kebbell, Kodi Smith-Mcphee, Enrique Muriciano, and Kirk Acevedo. James Franco will reportedly have a minor cameo.

Synopsis
A growing nation of genetically evolved apes led by Caesar is threatened by a band of human survivors of the devastating virus unleashed a decade earlier. They reach a fragile peace, but it proves short-lived, as both sides are brought to the brink of a war that will determine who will emerge as Earth’s dominant species.
