Fresh and unique ideas are what keep us excited about the horror genre, and Yellowstone Falls most definitely sounds like something we haven’t quite seen before. Read on for the scoop!
Deadline reports that QED won a bidding war to obtain the Dan Kunka-penned spec script, which oddly enough is only 52 pages long. Not only is the script so short, but there is very little dialogue and few human characters in it, which needless to say should make for a most interesting movie.
The action begins after an apocalyptic event that saps the humanity from most of the mutated humans that remain. At its core, it’s the story of a mother wolf, separated from her mate as the rest of the pack flees to safety, is forced to defend her cubs from the oncoming swarm.
The deal was six figures against a near seven-figure purchase price if the movie gets made.
The film will be produced by Kevin Misher as well as QED’s Bill Block.
