The cast for “The Walking Dead” Season 5 is beginning to firm up as Andrew J. West, Alanna Masterson, and Christian Serratos have been promoted to regular additions on the AMC series.
West made his debut last night on the Season 4 finale as the mysterious boss of Terminus. Masterson made her debut earlier in the season as Tara, one of the followers of The Governor.
Finally there is Rosita, played by Serratos, who is one of the military crew trying to escort a scientist to Washington, DC, in hopes of finding a cure for the zombie infection. She also joined the show earlier in the fourth season. Both Masterson and Serratos had options to join as regulars.
Based on the comic book series written by Robert Kirkman and published by Image Comics, “The Walking Dead” stars Andrew Lincoln, Norman Reedus, Steven Yeun, Lauren Cohan, Chandler Riggs, Melissa McBride, Emily Kinney, Danai Gurira, Chad Coleman, and Sonequa Martin-Green.
The series is executive produced by Scott M. Gimple, Robert Kirkman, Gale Anne Hurd, David Alpert, Tom Luse, and Greg Nicotero.
