Did she say Child’s Play was from ’98? You’ve really you’ve got to get your shit together !!! She was reading off notes and was still a decade off? I walked to theater opening day in ’88 to see CHUCKY, good times! Holland seems like a really cool guy, wish he had been more active directing. I guess his last feature film was Thinner in 96. I’m going to check out Twisted Tales asap!

Over the course of the show it’s become abundantly clear that the Gore Whore is an act. It’s a product, a persona. She’s admitted it on the show. Hell, she said she was an actress in this episode. She’s there for her charisma and looks. I used to get annoyed with her but I’ve accepted it.

I’m not trying to discredit her here, it’s just what I’ve seen. So she’ll mess things up. Think of her as the host with a basic interest in horror and Stacy as the expert. I bet Elvira couldn’t beat any of us the horror trivia. Same thing here.

It’s embarrasing to the show IMO, this stuff isn’t rocket science just get your facts straight.

To you and me, yes. But the majority of the viewers probably didn’t even notice. We’re the exceptions.

I do agree that she should stick to the script/notes.

          • Uncle Creepy

In fact, “I” didn’t notice. It’s funny, Vanessa can get 100 things right and the only thing some of you guys hear is whatever she messes up. You’re like the teachers who only notice someone when they’re fucking up. LOL

I can assure you, Vanessa is one of the biggest horror fans I know. It’s not act. Sure, she’s an actor, everyone in L.A. is! She may not be an encyclopedia, and some times nerves get the better of her and she says something wrong, but she loves this genre as much as anyone I’ve ever known.
