Films about demonic rituals are all the rage in Hollywood horror at the moment, and word has just come out of the UK about a new one that’s soon headed our way. Bust out your Ouija board and read on!
As per Screen Daily, Content has boarded worldwide rights to a UK horror film called Altar, which is currently shooting in Yorkshire. The flick was written and is being directed by Nick Willing (Neverland).
Matthew Modine (Full Metal Jacket), Olivia Williams, Antonia Clarke and Adam Thomas Wright make up the members of a family who move into a remote English country estate, where it is rumoured the original owner killed his wife in a demonic ritual.
Executive producer is Robert Halmi Sr. who spearheads the production, comprising The Halmi Company and UK outfit Great Point Media in association with Sandover Productions.
