With cameras getting ready to roll any day now, casting announcements for Ouija have been coming in hot and heavy. Today the planchette points to not one, not two, not even three, but a whopping four new actresses. Read on!
THR reports that Ouija has rounded out its cast with Bianco Santos (“The Fosters”), Erin Moriarty (“Red Widow”), newcomer Ana Coto, and Paranormal Activity 2 actress Vivis Colombetti (pictured). They join Olivia Cooke (“Bates Motel”), Douglas Smith, and Daren Kagasoff in the film, which is being produced by Platinum Dunes, Blumhouse Productions, and Hasbro.
Cooke will play a girl who discovers that her dead friend had been messing around with a Ouija board and brings the game home. Smith is the dead girl’s boyfriend, who may know more about her death than he lets on.
Filming in and around Los Angeles begins his week, with Stiles White in the director’s chair.
The script by Juliet Snowden and White centers on a group of friends attempting to make contact with a recently deceased classmate through a Ouija board who awaken a dark and terrifying presence.
