With “The Originals” becoming even more popular than its predecessor, “The Vampire Diaries,” is it any surprise the powers-that-be have announced that Klaus, the villain we all love to hate, is returning to his old stomping grounds of Mystic Falls?
Details are sparse at this point, but TV Guide confirmed today that Klaus Mikaelson (Joseph Morgan; pictured) is indeed returning to “The Vampire Diaries” this season. No word on which episode or in what context, but with “TVD’s” 100th episode airing soon, that could very well be when we see him and his heart’s desire, Caroline (Candice Accola), reunited.
Keep it here for more as it comes, and in the meantime, here’s another look at what’s ahead tomorrow night in “The Vampire Diaries” Episode 5.07, “Death and the Maiden.”
“The Vampire Diaries” Episode 5.07 – “Death and the Maiden” (airs 11/14/13, 8-9pm)
THE POWER OF DOPPLEGANGERS — While Elena (Nina Dobrev) and Damon (Ian Somerhalder) try to explain Amara’s (Nina Dobrev) situation to Stefan (Paul Wesley), Dr. Wes (guest star Rick Cosnett) gives Katherine (Nina Dobrev) some deeply disturbing news. Nadia (guest star Olga Fonda) shows up at Caroline’s (Candice Accola) dorm room, searching for Katherine.
After a surprising conversation with Amara, Jeremy (Steven R. McQueen) and Bonnie (Kat Graham) share a glimmer of hope. Silas (Paul Wesley) fails to keep a promise, causing Damon to turn to Tessa (guest star Janina Gavankar) for help with his new plan, and Stefan makes a heartbreaking confession to Damon and Elena.
