Between Ghostbusters III, Army of Darkness 2, and now Beetlejuice 2, I’m ready to punch someone in the friggin’ face. Could the ghost with the most actually be returning? Michael Keaton gave a quick update to the vultures over at TMZ.
Said vulture approached Keaton with his camera while he was out and about to ask if he’d be doing Beetlejuice 2. Keaton’s response? “Yes.” As if that means anything anymore. In any event, if something does come of this, we’ll let you know. Lord knows TMZ isn’t exactly the pillar of journalistic integrity.
In previous sequel news, director Tim Burton was said to be shuffling his schedule around to allow ample time to film the Beetlejuice sequel. Seth Grahame-Smith is writing. Michael Keaton starred as the title character, a ghoul hired in the original by a recently deceased couple to drive the new owners out of their house. The sequel is to be a true continuation 26 years later.
More to come!
