Flashback Weekend 2013: Full Moon Bringing on the Trancers: City of Lost Angels Goodies

If you’re gonna be among the lucky ones attending Chicago’s upcoming Flashback Weekend (Crowne Plaza Chicago O’Hare; August 9th-11th), you’ll be able to dig on a special treat from Full Moon Entertainment!

In 1988, Charles Band directed PULSESPOUNDERS, an anthology film comprised of short film sequels to the biggest hits of Empire Pictures – the first (and unseen) TRANCERS sequel, H.P. LOVECRAFT’S THE EVIL CLERGYMAN, and a sequel to THE DUNGEONMASTER. PULSEPOUNDERS was shot and edited in 1988 before circumstances prevented it from being released. PULSEPOUNDERS was thought to be a lost film. For the last 25 years, TRANCERS fans have clamored to see the unseen adventures of Jack Deth!
Recently, a PULSEPOUNDERS work print was discovered. Charles Band and a team of experts have been working for the last year digitally restoring it. Plus an original lavish 1980’s style score! TRANCERS: CITY OF LOST ANGELS stars Tim Thomerson (Jack Deth), Helen Hunt (Lena), and the rest of the TRANCERS ensemble.
This World Premiere of TRANCERS: CITY OF LOST ANGELS will be introduced by director Charles Band. The evening will also include special unseen footage from the TRANCERS set and many surprises. The DVD extras for the TRANCERS: CITY OF LOST ANGELS will be filmed at the World Premiere. TRANCERS fans will have the opportunity to appear on the DVD extras!
To commemorate this event, a limited number of Collector’s Edition DVD wraps will be available only at Flashback Weekend 2013. They will be signed by Charles Band on site and cost only $20! Later, when post-production and replication have been completed, the finished DVD with all special features will be mailed to the purchasers. A documentary will be shot at the premiere and will be a highlight of this collector’s DVD.

Last year at Flashback Weekend, the first segment of PulsePounders (The Evil Clergyman) premiered and is available now on DVD. This year, Trancers: City of Lost Angels will premiere.
