Final Destination 5 World Premiere at Fantasia
No matter where you run, no matter where you hide...you can't cheat death. Truer words have never been spoken, and the same could be said of the Final Destination franchise. Final Destination 5 is set to have its world premiere at the Fantasia International Film Festival on August 4th at 11:55 pm.
This fifth installment of the franchise, which has played host to disaster on planes, highways, racetracks, and roller coasters, features a terrifying suspension bridge collapse. Which, of course, a small group of people find they were never supposed to survive.
Let's face it. We watch the Final Destination series for two reasons: the epic opening disaster and the insane death scenes. Which it always provides. You can catch all the current madness at the world premiere on August 4th as Fantasia International Film Festival's special midnight film. One of the film's stars, Jacqueline MacInnes Wood, will be in attendence.
Final Destination 5 is the second in the series to be shot in 3D and is directed by Steven Quale, making his feature film directorial debut.

Death arrives in theatres everywhere else on August 12th. Check out the official Final Destination 5 website for more.
