Scream Trilogy Finally Hitting Blu-ray

Well it was bound to happen. Now that Lionsgate, Studiocanal and Miramax announced that they have entered into a worldwide home entertainment distribution deal, we're going to seeing a lot of releases we've all been waiting for hitting Blu-ray high definition, including the first three entries of a franchise people are screaming over.

According to Blu-ray.com Miramax CEO Mike Lang revealed that upcoming titles include all three films in the Scream franchise, tying in with the theatrical release of Scream 4 (due out April 15). Makes sense.

Look for more including artwork and specs soon.

Cool, I've been tempted to pick up the version that was released here in Canada but there are zero extras (as in, not even MENUS) and apparently they're only 1080i, so it's nice to see we'll be getting a proper release.

Yes, be careful with the Alliance releases (in Canada); they are often 1080I with a poor transfer, not worth the dvd upgrade.

Well, about time. SCREAM uncut right? RIGHT?

Now maybe they'll be out a week or two BEFORE SCREAM 4, so we have time to see them and not be all SCREAMed out.
