Cinedigm and Voltage Pictures Experience an Unraveling

Some interesting news is coming in from Screen Daily as Cinedigm and Voltage Pictures are partnering on a three-year, five-picture output deal with newly minted genre label Rapid Eye Film. Read on for the early word on what horrors are to come!

Founded by filmmaker Marco Weber, Rapid Eye will develop, finance and produce the films, and Cinedigm will provide a U.S. theatrical release plus VOD, digital, TV, and DVD. Nic Chartier’s Voltage Pictures will handle international sales.

Weber’s sci-fi thriller Unraveling, said to be a cross of Angel Heart and Seven, will be the first title out of the gate under the partnership. Casting is under way with Weber in the director’s chair.

Unraveling will shoot in Los Angeles this spring.
