Adding to the craziness of both the season and the Big Apple this weekend was the New York Comic Con 2010, where another panel for “The Walking Dead” further excited fans! Miss it? Wanna see it? Of course you do!

Check out the video below from a cam-happy fan who recorded the event and uploaded it to YouTube. Six minutes of Episode 2, titled “Guts”, were shown at the show, and that’s online too if you look for it! Just a heads-up! AMC’s “The Walking Dead” Blog provided a brief synopsis:

Rick Grimes crouches in a tank, receiving instruction from a voice over the radio on how to escape from a herd of walkers. That voice ends up being Glenn, who guides Rick through the crowd and up a ladder to safety. The scene ends with Rick meeting Andrea (Laurie Holden), who puts a gun in Rick’s face and proclaims Rick has doomed them all. Kirkman used the clip to note how the series diverges from the comic book while at the same time staying true to it — a treat for fans of the comic as well as newcomers.

Frank Darabont is the project’s writer, director of the pilot, and exec producer with Gale Anne Hurd and David Alpert also exec producing. KNB is handling the effects.

“The Walking Dead” tells the story of life following a zombie apocalypse. It follows a group of survivors, led by police officer Rick Grimes, traveling in search of a safe and secure home. Andrew Lincoln (Love Actually, Teachers, Strike Back) portrays the lead role of Rick Grimes while actor Jon Bernthal (The Pacific, The Ghost Writer) portrays the character Shane, who worked with Rick in the police department before the zombie disaster. Other cast members include Laurie Holden (“The Shield”), who plays Andrea, one of two sisters who join the survivors of the zombie plague, Steven Yeun as Glenn, an expert scavenger, and Sarah Wayne Callies (“Prison Break”), who plays Rick’s wife, Lori.

“The Walking Dead” will premiere on Halloween night, Sunday, October 31st, at 10/9c! To stay up-to-the-minute on all things walker related, follow @WalkingDead_AMC on Twitter and visit “The Walking Dead” on Facebook.
