After having now seen the movie, I have one thing in particular that really bothers me; more than the complete lack of story and attempt to drive it towards a new direction (instead they chose to revamp the original setups). Why in the heck would Katie/the Demon give away Hunter and take in an orphan of their own? I would think the CSS people would know Hunter was a missing child and instead of putting him into the system to be taken in by another family they give him to a relative. And how would Katie obtain another child unless she kidnapped him as well, and for what purposes?

This movie only served as a part in the series for which Katie gets Hunter back from his adoptive family, but we don’t even get to find out why she gave him up when the demon wanted him so bad to begin with. And almost ready for what, to be possessed? As far as the clip after the credits goes, I’m sure it’s a very small scene from what’s on the tape Jacob D. found in his daughter Sarah’s things; but then again time will only tell. I just really hope that PA5 damn near wraps things up for us and only leaves us with a few small unanswered things (I’m sure they’re gonna go to 6 or 7 films so i’m not anticipating them closing the whole book with part 5, i just want them to go SOMEWHERE and answer most of what they’ve put on the table in front of us).
