  • Terminal

What a terrible movie. Complete let down of the year.

  • Sirand

The first scene wasn’t necessary, but Scott really should’ve kept those others in. They add a lot to build-up and tension to the movie. Especially the fight scene at the end. Big mis-step on Ridley’s part.

Wonder how the other deleted scenes on the Blu Ray play.

    • Masked Slasher

I like the Idris Elba scene … kind of shows how/why he deduces that the facility is a disaster.

Granted, you don’t need it. But since one of the 6000000000000 things people nitpicked Prometheus on was “how did he jump to the conclusion” that the facility was a weapons lab”, it would’ve been nice to have.

Plus, it adds more fuel / debate to the “is Vickers a robot” question.

      • Sirand

It’s also the only scene where Vickers shows a shred of humanity. I dig it. Really excited to see the full Blu Ray…and I’m sensing that we really need an “Extended Version” where most of this stuff is added back into the film.

As with the original cut of Blade Runner, I think Ridley made some wrong choices in post that can easily be fixed with a new version.
