Syfy Bringing Two More Supernatural Series to the Table
The Syfy Channel is known for an abundance of reality based shows such as the ninety-five different versions of "Ghost Hunters" and the numerous others that have met with a decent amount of success. Today they announced two new ones are on the way!
According to Variety the NBC Universal cable network has touted plans for a new Thursday night block of reality shows: "Paranormal Investigators," which aims to build on the aforementioned success of "Ghost Hunters," and "Mary Knows Best," revolving around a radio psychic and her family. Both shows will debut on July 15th.
Hopefully we'll get a little more than the usual "show up somewhere spooky, react to every little thing, and ultimately find nothing" type programming that's starting to get a bit on the tired side. Stay tuned.

I enjoyed Ghost Hunters. I liked the guys and I liked the history of some of the places. But, yeah, eventually it was the same thing again and again. I suppose they cost almost nothing to make though and they have to fill time somehow.

I used to be a big fan of "Ghost Hunters" but the last two weeks I've recorded the episodes, kept them for a day, and deleted them. After a while it becomes pretty tedious. Now if I watch I only watch for Kris Williams.

i agree i loved ghost hunters and still watch it but it to me has pretty much gotten boring and not only that it seems to me they also have caved in to the studios to produce stuff. i mean if you look back in the first season Grant and
Jason are constantly saying A) Ghost dont always show up on cue and B) that just cause they catch a few evps and stuff that doesnt make a place haunted and they did a great job of debunking...but now if you look starting with season three on up they seemingly have had success in almost every investigation and several of them they claimed were haunted had less evidence then some of the investigations from the first two seasons they said were not

I agree with Terminal and Butcher. I don't care for these boring "reality" ghost shows at all.
