David R. Ellis Has Bad Luck
What if we lived in a world where all of our superstitions were true? What if you had to avoid all the cracks of the sidewalk, pick up a penny when you saw it, and shriek in horror should a black cat cross your path? Welcome to the world of Bad Luck!
Producer Mark Ordesky (Lord of the Rings) is set to bring us a new thriller in the vein of the fun found in the Final Destination franchise (except for the last two entries), a film penned by David Schow that asks, "What if all our superstitions were real and deadly?" There's only one director out there with the chops to tackle such a tale -- David R. Ellis. Let's hope he gets back on track with this one. Unless the 3D gimmick is once again imposed on us, I think we'll be okay.
Dig on the preliminary artwork (pictured right) and the quickie plot crunch below.
Synopsis
Bad Luck follows a group of skeptical college friends who find out the hard way when superstitions come between them and those they love.
