DVD Releases: Dec. 29, 2009: The Paranormal Activity of Jennifer's Body

It's the last week of 2009, and there's a surprisingly rich assortment of DVDs and Blu-rays hitting store shelves on Tuesday, December 29th. From Shane Acker's magical 9 to Megan Fox's portrayal of Jennifer and her magical Body, there's a little something for everyone, including a Getaway with the almost Perfect Milla Jovovich.

Viewers can finally see if they agree with the general consensus that Carriers was given the shaft by being dumped onto DVD with no theatrical release. But best of all ... those who missed Paranormal Activity's record-setting theatrical run will finally have the chance to see what all the fuss is about as our "pick of the week" hits home video in a whopping three different versions.

There's even more to explore such as the intriguing sounding Evil Offspring, The First 7th Night from Hong Kong, and a South Korean version of Hansel and Gretel. Round it out with horror comedy Diagnosis: Death, and we say, "Farewell 2009! Thanks for the memories!"
