Vamp Tale Wannabe Now Available on DVD

James Mannan's short film Wannabe Sick and tired of whiny vamps who go around moping and sparkling rather than snarling and biting? Then Liberty or Death Productions' new short film "Wannabe" could be right up your alley.

"Wannabe", the story of Viola, a young woman who wants to become a vampire and will go to dangerous lengths to gain the powers associated with "the dark gift", is now available as a limited edition DVD. The filmmakers promise "Wannabe" delivers a healthy dose of gore and includes nudity and adult situations. The short was written, directed, and edited by James Mannan and features Steffani Pieart as Viola, Robert Webster as Andrew, and Brianna Michaels as Nyx.

The DVD comes with over an hour of bonus features including audio commentaries, outtakes and behind-the-scenes footage, rehearsal footage, trailers, and a photo gallery.

Production Ramping Up on Indie Film Fetch
Director C.M. Downs dropped us a line with an update on Fetch, the new feature he's working on for DrippingDead Films. Casting is now complete for the film, which was written by Trent Haaga and is gearing up to commence principal photography on January 9th in Easton, Kansas.
