More People to be Slain ... One By One
Tony Todd knows a lot about creating iconic horror characters, and with the latest slasher film One By One, there looks to be another looming on the horizon. Are you ready to meet Railroad Jack the Reaper?
According to The Hollywood Reporter horror actors Douglas Tait (Freddy vs. Jason) and Todd, along with Sally Kirkland(!), have lined up for One By One, a teen horror movie that serves as the first feature entry from Kilo Entertainment.
The film, written by and to be directed and exec produced by Kilo founder Kimberly Seilhamer, follows a villain named Railroad Jack the Reaper (Tait) and his carnival of destruction called Death’s Door. When a bus carrying a group of teens crashes on a deserted highway, Railroad Jack picks them off one by one.
A familiar plot indeed, but let's hope for some good old fashioned splattery fun like the days when said teens were nothing more than meat for the beast. More as it comes.

Back in August it was announced that Larry Fessenden would be taking over as director on the American remake of J.A. Bayona's ghostly tale The Orphange. Fans rejoiced for the most part because with Larry at the helm, the last thing we'd get is a homogenized version of the flick that was met with much critical acclaim. Sadly ... things have changed.

Oh ok. I agree with you, Todd is great. You are so right about the plot being done before. But hopefully with Tait and Todds talents, they can give us that good old fashioned splattery that a film like this needs.

Douglas Tait is playing the Railroad Jack Reaper character, not Tony Todd. Tait is also 6'5' and great at playing these type of characters like Todd. Tait can be seen in the latest Star Trek and Land Of The Lost movies, and several horror Movies, including Jason in the ending of Freddy Vs.Jason.

I never said Todd was playing the killer. I said he knows a lot about what goes into making a character iconic. Meaning he'll be of great use in this flick.
