Zombie Jesus Comic Book Prince of Pieces Soon to be Risen

A comic book about a pissed off zombie Jesus returning to devour the flesh of sinners... No, this won't offend anyone. Prince of Pieces is a comic book currently in development, and perhaps the most shocking thing of all is knowing Brian Pulido is in no way involved.
Prince of Pieces is the creation of Sam Miserendino, who promises it's all meant to be in the holy spirit of gory fun with a little pointed commentary thrown in. The Son of God returns and is mad as hell. Jesus disposes of sinners great and small with biblical flair (reverse leprosy, swarming gnats, and turning them into pillars of salt, just to name a few). And like all who return from the dead, Jesus has acquired a taste for human flesh. As one character wryly observes, "For two thousand years you've been eating His flesh and drinking His blood... Now it's His turn."
Not only is the comic book in the works, so is a film version of Prince of Pieces with Dead Kennedys frontman Jello Biafra attached to star.

The creators of Prince of Pieces had better hope that H.L. Mencken was right! It's an intriguing idea. I just hope I won't go to hell for buying it!

Brilliant tagline ("For two-thousand years you've been eating his flesh and drinking his blood, now it's his turn") for a very interesting concept. Looking forward to seeing more...

WARNING! There already IS a Zombie Jesus comic book ( and short film ). I should know, I already wrote and drew it...3 issues in fact. I'm sure production of a different one will be a serious copyright infringement. see for yourself at:championsofhell.com

Too bad the movie version is still in production. This would seemingly be a perfect fit to share a double feature bill with The Message.
